Automotive high temperature one-component silicone sealant KERRY® KR-145-1 is designed to repair or form gaskets in vehicle components exposed to high temperatures, such as crankcase cover / gearbox pan, engine oil pan, thermostat housing, water pump. Can be applied to standard gaskets to improve their performance (not recommended for use on cylinder heads). Does not contain solvents and acids, does not cause corrosion.
Suitable for sealing electrical connections and sensors. Resistant to automotive technical fluids (except gasoline). Thixotropic, does not spread and does not slip along the seam. Fills cavities and gaps up to 7 mm. The hardened sealant can be used at temperatures from -60°C to +345°C. For 5 running meters with a roller diameter of 4 mm.

Apply the sealant on clean, dry and grease-free surfaces at temperatures from +5°C to +40°C (sealant temperature should be +20…25°C) in a continuous uniform strip 2-3 mm thick on one of the surfaces.
Time of formation of a superficial film — 10–15 minutes; the time of full vulcanization of a gasket up to 3 mm thick is 24 hours (at a temperature of +23°C and a relative humidity of 50%).
Once the sealant has hardened, no further tightening of the bolts is required.
Tools and surfaces contaminated with fresh sealant should be cleaned with Gasket and Sealant Remover KR-969; Remove hardened sealant mechanically.
