- Apply the sealant on clean, dry and grease-free surfaces at temperatures from +5°C to +40°C (sealant temperature should be +20…25°C) in a continuous uniform strip 2-3 mm thick on one of the surfaces.
- Time of formation of a superficial film — 10–15 minutes; the time of full vulcanization of a gasket up to 3 mm thick is 24 hours (at a temperature of +23°C and a relative humidity of 50%).
- Once the sealant has hardened, no further tightening of the bolts is required.
- Tools and surfaces contaminated with fresh sealant should be cleaned with Gasket and Sealant Remover KR-969; Remove hardened sealant mechanically.
