KERRY® (pronounced [ˈkerɪ]) is a Russian brand of automotive chemicals and car care products built on its own research facilities and engineering expertise. Since its foundation, the company’s priorities have been original formulation development, localized manufacturing and quality control throughout the product lifecycle—from laboratory research and testing to full-scale production.
The range covers the essential tasks involved in vehicle maintenance, repair, protection and care.
In-house research and manufacturing infrastructure provides control from formulation development and testing through full-scale production.
All KERRY® products are manufactured at the company’s own facilities operated by Elf Filling JSC and RusTA LLC, Russian manufacturers within the Russian Technical Aerosols Group.
The company’s infrastructure and expertise take new developments from laboratory samples to production batches and support a broad range of technical products: one- and two-component coatings, automotive chemicals and car care products, plus sealing and bonding compounds for industrial and household use.
Manufacturing capacity and practical formulation expertise support contract filling and manufacturing for third parties, including projects with custom formulations, packaging requirements and product formats.
The manufacturing facilities operate a certified quality management system compliant with GOST R ISO 9001-2015 (ISO 9001:2015).
The in-house R&D Center brings together formulation chemists and engineers who develop original compounds, perform testing and adapt products to demanding Russian operating conditions.
KERRY® has developed continuously since 1998, expanding its scientific capabilities, manufacturing base and automotive chemical range.
The KERRY® story began in 1998, after the economic crisis, when a group of Bauman Moscow State Technical University graduates identified the need for domestically developed automotive chemicals independent of imports. The first research laboratory was established and work began on proprietary formulations adapted to Russian vehicle operating conditions.
In 1999, the first seven original formulations were completed, the KERRY® trademark was registered and initial manufacturing capacity was launched at the Elf Filling JSC plant in Elektrougli. From the outset, the company chose to develop its own formulas rather than copy foreign products.
By 2001, the range had grown to 21 formulations, while the research laboratory had been modernized and equipped to test product physicochemical properties.
In 2002, annual output exceeded one million units. Development then proceeded on two parallel tracks: scaling manufacturing and deepening scientific research. In 2003, production lines underwent major modernization, contract manufacturing began and a dedicated propellant storage facility increased technological independence.
A new Research and Development Center was established in 2005. During the same period, aerosol coatings became the separate KUDO® brand, allowing KERRY® development to focus specifically on automotive chemicals and car care. The team grew beyond 100 specialists, including formulation chemists and engineers.
By 2009, a new production building was operational and the R&D Center had tripled in size. More than 300 original formulations had been developed, with strategy increasingly focused on localized manufacturing and proprietary research.
In 2012, annual output exceeded 10 million units and manufacturing investment surpassed RUB 200 million. The R&D Center tripled in size again in 2015, while structured cooperation began with specialized educational institutions and industry experts.
Since 2018, the company has actively expanded into industrial sealing compounds. A new facility for polyurethane foam and sealant production was commissioned at RusTA LLC, part of the Russian Technical Aerosols Group.
By 2019, the workforce exceeded 600 and in-house plastic-component manufacturing had begun. The R&D Center was restructured and doubled in size in 2020. Over eight years, more than RUB 3 billion was invested in manufacturing, research and development. The KERRY® range included over 200 products and the number of developed formulations exceeded 600.
Blister-pack production began in 2021 and a new sealant manufacturing complex entered service. OEM sealant deliveries to engineering companies started in 2022, demonstrating compliance with demanding industrial standards.
In 2024, KERRY® was named “Brand №1 in Russia” among professional users in the aerosol automotive component-cleaner and anti-corrosion segment. KERRY® gasket makers were named Brand №1 for “quality” in the Russian retail market. A new coatings manufacturing complex was also commissioned that year.
By 2025, the KERRY® range exceeded 300 formulations. Most products are made at three facilities in the Moscow Region, including in-house metal-can production, providing control over key manufacturing processes. In 2025, the first KERRY® range integrating artificial intelligence throughout the development process was also created—from analysis of user preferences and design development to formulation optimization.

The KERRY® catalog includes products for vehicle maintenance, repair and care—from workshop chemicals to exterior and interior detailing products.
