2K Cold steel epoxy (titanium and polymer)

SKU: KR-105

Ideal for eliminating defects (cracks, shells, chips, dents) on parts made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, most types of plastics (excluding polyethylene and polyurethane), glass, ceramics and wood, gluing parts from these materials in various combinations, sealing connections, build-up and restoration of fragments of parts and fasteners. Well-proven for repairing the engine cooling jacket, crankcase pan, gas tank, oil pump, as well as gluing studs, sealing through defects in technical pipelines, etc.

Universal 2K Cold Steel Epoxy KERRY® KR 105 has exceptional strength, water resistance, withstands vibrations and mechanical stresses in the temperature range from -60°C to +150°C, and is characterized by stable performance.

  • Prepare the surface for bonding: remove scale and rust, sand, degrease (with acetone or other solvent), and dry.
  • Combine the components in equal volumes and mix until a homogeneous mass in terms of viscosity and color is obtained. The prepared compound is suitable for gluing no more than 60 minutes at a temperature of 25±10°C.
  • Apply the compound on the surfaces of the parts to be bonded (or restored) and fix for the curing time (12-24 hours).
  • When sealing large cracks, drill holes with a diameter of 1–3 mm at the corners of the crack and lay the compound in two layers according to the above conditions, lay a patch of fiberglass, basalt or metal mesh between the layers.

It is forbidden to use the compound for repairing kitchenware that is in direct contact with food!

IMPORTANT! If, as a result of storage for more than 24 months or sharp fluctuations in temperature and the outer layer of cold welding has hardened, heat it up to + 60 ° C. You can use heating radiators, hot water, etc. for this. Let the compound cool slightly and it will restore its original properties.
