How to Flush an Engine Oil System

This article explains the product’s key properties, intended use and recommended application procedure.

KULT 5-Minute Engine Oil System Flush

Flushes the lubrication system of gasoline and diesel engines in all types of vehicles and stationary equipment before an oil change. A detergent-dispersant additive package removes carbon, sludge, coke, varnish and other oil-insoluble deposits. During flushing, it cleans oil passages, the crankcase, piston rings, hydraulic lifters and other lubricated engine components. One bottle treats an oil system with a capacity of up to 6 liters.

  • Removes carbon, sludge, varnish and other deposits
  • For gasoline and diesel engines with oil systems up to 6 liters

Application

  • Warm the engine to normal operating temperature.
  • Switch off the engine and pour the product into the oil filler neck. For oil systems below 3 liters, use half a bottle.
  • Refit the oil filler cap and idle the engine for 5–7 minutes. If the oil has not been changed for an extended period or the oil system is heavily contaminated, the cleaning time may be increased to 15–20 minutes.
  • Switch off the engine and drain the used oil, observing all applicable precautions.
  • Always replace the oil filter, then fill with fresh engine oil.

Important: The engine must remain at idle throughout the cleaning process.
