- Empty the cooling system, making sure that the engine is off and cold.
- Fill the radiator with water and add the contents of the bottle. Close the radiator cap.
- Warm the engine up to operating temperature.
- Run the engine for at least 10 minutes with the heater on and the air conditioning off.
- Empty the cooling system, making sure that the engine is off and cold.
- Fill the radiator with water. Close the radiator cap.
- Let the engine run for 5 minutes. Empty the radiator.
- Fill the radiator with coolant or antifreeze. Close the radiator cap.
